A quick update from VP

A brief overview of VP’s activity during the lockdown period, and how VP has adapted to meet new challenges.

COVID-19 has presented a broad and unfamiliar challenge to Vascular Perspectives, as it has with industry partners and collaborators the world over. Social distancing measures not only changed the day-to-day product-based interactions we have with our colleagues on the frontline of clinical practice, but also tested the robustness of our education provision to the wider realms of healthcare.

Over the past few months, VP has adapted and evolved to meet the demands of the new environments we all live and work in:

Our equipment supply and distribution channel has been able to continue throughout the lockdown period, ensuring that emergency and essential procedures continue as normal, supported by our excellent product range;

Our education team has been delivering, and will continue to deliver, virtual training sessions to the entire cath lab team. We’ve converted our usual in-person VP ED sessions into online real-time tutorials, created dedicated high-quality online e-courses and programmes over a range of skill levels, organised one-on-one training for specific competencies, and also delivered collaborative bespoke virtual seminars;

We have also been exploring new and innovative ways to continue to help the NHS and frontline staff through these still difficult times.
As the lock-down starts to ease in the UK, we will continue with our vigilance, whilst balancing the need to offer support and guidance in the labs. We are adhereing to all Trust protocols to ensure that we keep both our customers and our staff safe. Should you require support from a member of staff, please get in touch with your TM and we can arrange either in-person or virtual support to suit the case and need.
