Since supporting the inception of the very first FYA congress back in 2022 we have witnessed how this event has evolved, expanding both its content and its reputation. Now in its fourth edition, the event returned once again to London in January 2024.
Spanning two full days, the congress offered a dynamic mix of case-based discussions and hands-on experiences with lots of interactivity. A notable addition this year was the inclusion of a venous session, running concurrently with the vascular discussions. Divided into superficial and deep venous treatment tracks, each day featured its own dedicated programme and outstanding faculty.
The congress was really well attended, proving to be an informative and inclusive learning experience for both trainees and more experienced consultants alike. As ever the energy in the room was high and everyone came to learn and participate.
The VP team attended to provide hands-on demonstrations and product simulation and techniques to both audiences of trainees and experienced clinicians. We had our layercaseTM, our wire sim and plenty of material to teach about properties and technologies.
We were joined by our partners ASAHI Intecc who were happy to take delegates through their wire knowledge paces, whilst our team represented OrbusNeich and Biolife, we also had newcomer Bycross showcasing their innovative bi-directional atherectomy technology set to enhance our portfolio shortly.
Overall, an exhausting but fulfilling weekend for the whole team, marking another successful chapter in the PVI story.
