There’s been so much happening in the VP world.
Here’s just a handful of what’s been occurring.
The BRAIN event London
December 2024
“It was great working together. You put what was in my ‘brain’ onto the screen at BRAIN! This learning thing—it’s critical to innovation and our future success.”
-Dr Paul Bhogal
Dr Paul Bhogal is the founder of BRAIN!—Millbrook medical conferences put us in touch with him, (side note our relationship with Millbrook has changed so much in the past 6 months, we would not have had this opportunity without them).
The first Neurovascular event for VP MED: Our 10 minutes in the spotlight included a face-to-face meeting with Galaxy Therapeutics—moving forward, they’ve decided to work with Team VP…a No-brainer for them (no pun intended). This was soon followed by confirmation that the Rapid Medical partnership has now signed on the dotted line (Whoop-whoop!).
We’d like to extend a heartfelt ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone for the success of this event. We’re especially grateful to Dr. Paul Bhogal for his insightful opening presentation and for the invaluable contributions by Noel Brennan, Andy Brett, and Janine Stones (whose tireless efforts were instrumental in bringing the event to life). Millbrook Medical Conferences, it was an absolute pleasure to work with you—we were honoured to play our part in all of this.
A special thanks also goes out to Cai Brockley, Steve Schofield, and Esther Eitelsebner for their exceptional representation of our company. Their dedication and professionalism rocked.
A big hand goes to Imran (Paul opened up his meeting using the slides Imran
helped put together).

Cardiology
28th October
Hammersmith Didactic training
Hammersmith Didactic training days for cath lab nurses: 3-day course led by Nikko Rellora (Clinical Practice Educator). Emelia was invited to deliver an education package with PCI Guidewires, with the aim to convey the fundamentals of Cath Lab nursing. She watched the excitement mount as someone wired the Y Branch model with a Sion Blue after they struggled with the older technology.
ACTOS
27-29th November
Emelia also attended her first ACTOS with Jemma, David, Sam, Yuji and UK physicians such as Dr Steve Hoole, Dr Thomas Burchell, Dr Mohammad Sahebjalal, Dr Elliot Smith, and Dr Mohaned Egred. The highlight for Emelia? Quality time with her team and physicians, building connections, and strengthening relationships.
All things wires
Sams been very busy I his first few months at VP. From Teaching AHP’s all about guidewires and following up with Sims to four live CTO cases performed by top north west CTO operators, they were able to make their own guidewires and deliver his first education day to a total of 15 staff. He learned so much about CTO, took on the VP slides, and experienced the magnificence of the graphics utilised throughout! Note from Sam – “Cheers guys, they were ace, you made me look great and feel confident”.
Bossin the Cath Lab
In its third year, David and Claire once again took bossin’ to the south west. Essential cath lab skills provided by AHCPs for AHCPs. David’s highlight? Heart Dissection. “It was something else” (especially for a vegetarian). The day was jam packed with educational activities, with over 40 attendees. Watch out the rest of the UK, this is going on tour.
Concepts Lite, Brizzle
Part of the Presenter series
Matt and Sam took the lite version of impactful storyboarding to Bristol. This event offered a unique opportunity for Interventional Cardiologists and their Fellows to engage in a real team-building experience while expanding their skillsets. It was a chance to connect with colleagues, share knowledge, and learn new techniques in a collaborative and supportive environment. “I can’t draw, but I can Concept” – Sam
