This was our teams first time at the Yorkshire Imaging and Interventional Radiology Symposium (YiiiRS) held by X-Posure formally known as the Leeds Radiology Society.
YiiRS is a one-day conference allowing health professionals to explore the field of interventional radiology, organised by a student committee from X-Posure, Leeds with support from an esteemed committee of interventional consultants, and we were inspired to see such knowledge and passion on display.
The conference is a mix of presentations covering topics such as trauma IR, paediatric IR and INR as well as interactive workshops to demonstrate the latest in IR technology.
We attended as part of the interactive workshop, using Mentice virtual SIM to simulate real-life procedures and allow delegates to practice in a safe environment with real patient cases.
The day was very well attended with over 250 delegates, all open to learning more about Interventional radiology as a specialism, and we loved being able to facilitate hands-on learning and showcasing some of the technology in our portfolio.
We are looking forward to returning for the sixth edition in early 2025.
